My Role

As lead designer on this project, I was responsible for designing all wireframes, UI specs, and pixel-perfect mocks. I worked closely with the client and stakeholders to design an experience that successfully increased page views for the app.

The Problem

Rategenie had no website to promote the app and its features to potential clients, and to help them sign up for the app.

The Goal

The website was developed to create an online presence for Rategenie. The aim was to better communicate the features and benefits of the Rategenie app, and to make it easier for potential customers to sign up for the app.

We worked closely with stakeholders to create a visual narrative for the website that would flow through to the app.

Wireframe

In the sketching/wireframing stage of the design process, I compared the design team’s best ideas.

The final decision on design was made based on who potential customers are, what their motivations are, and what they want to achieve.

We then made sketches of the website’s ideal user flows.

Final Design

The Rategenie app design is modern, minimal, and sophisticated. We wanted to embody the same approach for the website.

We used a muted color palette with bright CTAs that step off the screen. A thin, elegant typeface that speaks clearly to consumers further enhanced the look.
