    I was involved in the entire process of this project. I created screens for the mobile app that allowed the user to complete their tasks in just a few clicks.

    The Problem

    Tasks could not be performed properly in some of the existing screens, so we made changes so the tasks could be completed effectively. We also improved the aesthetic and overall user experience.

    The Goal

    The goal of the Rategenie app was to have easy navigation and improved productivity for the user.

    The client wanted the Rategenie app and accompanying website to have the same look and feel.

    Wireframe

    The initial idea for the structure of the mobile app was a step-by-step process that showed how an operations problem could be solved.

    The visual design process is shown below.

    Final Design

    The app’s colors are based on Rategenie’s branding to echo the visual style of the website. The color palette includes various shades of gray and green with accents of bright turquoise.

    We used a contrast color for the call-to-action buttons to attract users’ attention.

    Although the app screens contain a lot of information, they are laid out clearly so that users are able to navigate around the app easily.
